This oil painting is painted on a wooden box hand-made by the artist. The bright red, yellow, blue and green
is the stage for the dancing creature, who seems to be part shadow and part 3 dimensional. Upon closer
observation, the viewer can see that the dancing character is made from low-relief sculpture made with
molding paste. This is a very large painting and requires a special home where the viewers can appreciate
the 4-inch depth of the box. This is a happy, surreal painting!
